Kingdom Praying Is Taking Dominion

How do I  pray to get results?

Why doesn’t God answer my prayers?

Kingdom Praying –Praying God’s Will

The Lord’s Prayer is a model prayer. It is a way that Jesus told us to pray. We are the temple of God. God said His house would be a house of prayer. And He said to pray this way…

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.10: Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. (Matt 6:9-13)

1. Give us this day our daily bread. (God is to provide us with our daily needs including house, car, food, electricity, gas, clothes and health, wisdom, etc.)

2. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. (We reap what we sow, we forgive and God forgives us. Walking in love means forgiving)

3. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. (Because of what Jesus did, God’s kingdom keeps us safe and gives us all power on earth under God). Amen.

The Lord’s Prayer has already been fulfilled, but it serves as a model on how to pray. Let’s take a look at each part of the “Lord’s Prayer.”

Our:

Jesus was teaching us how to pray. Jesus said “our” Father. The Father of Jesus is also our Father. That would make us brothers. Let’s look at what the word of God says about this.

He (Jesus) …said that God was His Father, making Himself equal with God. (John 5:18)

(us who God) predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. (Rom 8:29)

The word “Our” also reminds us of our brothers and sisters in the Lord.

Father:

God wants to have a relationship with us. He wants us to see Him as our Father, not a Master or God. He wants us to be His family. As a Father, He will take care of our needs, comfort and protect us. This relationship isn’t earned, it is given to us by the blood of Jesus. God doesn’t see us as worms in the dirt, not good enough to come into His presence. He sees us as His kids.

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: (1 John 3:1)

For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. (Gal 3:26 26)

To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. (Gal 4:5-6)

Fathers provide all their children need. 23: And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. (John 16:23)

For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. (John 16:27)

Sons are created in the image of the Father.

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. (Rom 8:29)

Fathers take care of children; they provide for and protect them.

Ps 91 shows us how God promises to protect us.

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most high, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample underfoot. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. (Ps 91)

Ps 23 also shows us God’s intentions to protect us and provide for us.

Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgives all my iniquities; who heals all my diseases; Who redeems my life from destruction; who crowns me with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfies my mouth with good things; so that my youth is renewed like the eagle’s. (Ps 103:1-5)

Fathers give gifts to their children.

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? (Luke 11:13)

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. (1 Cor 2:12-13)

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? (Rom 8:32)

trust..in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; (1 Tim 6:17)

For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. (Ps 84:11)

You have fellowship with your Father. You have a relationship with Him.

God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. (1 Cor 1:9)

Who is in Heaven:

Our Father God supplies all our needs and wants from Heaven’s resources. Not according to earth resources. Heaven operates in the supernatural. Earth operates in the natural. Our home is in heaven. (Phil 3:20)

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, (2 Cor 5:20)

Our job is to bring heaven (God’s will) on earth.

The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’s: but the earth hath he given to the children of men. (Ps 115:16)

We live by heaven’s resources

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: (2 Pet 1:3)

Heaven’s rules are different than ours.

And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. (Luke 10:27) If you fulfill the royal law according to the scripture, you will love your neighbour as yourself, you do well. (Jms 2:8) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap. (Gal 6:7)

The sower soweth the word. (Matt 4:14) Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. (Luke 6:38)

Honor Your Name :

The Name of “Jesus” is what got us saved. It is the source of our power. Everything Jesus did for us is backed up behind the name. God has many names also. Each name reveals His character.

YHWH-Yireh — “The Lord will provide” (Gen 22:13, 14).

YHWH-Rapha — “The Lord that healeth” (Ex 15:26).

YHWH-Nissi — “The Lord our Banner” (Ex 17:8-15).

YHWH-Shalom — “The Lord our Peace” (Judges 6:24).

YHWH-Ra-ah — “The Lord my Shepherd” (Ps 23:1).

YHWH-Tsidkenu — “The Lord our Righteousness” (Jer 23:6).

YHWH-Shammah — “The Lord is present” (Ezek 48:35).

You are washed, you are sanctified, you are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus (1 Cor 6:11)

Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name. (Luke 10:17-19)

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; (Phil 2:10)

Your Kingdom come

The kingdom is God’s rule, power and domain. God rules earth though us, His children.

Seek first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added to you. (Matt 6:33)

And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 8: Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. (Matt 10:7-8)

But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you (Matt 12:28)

And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. (good news) (Mark 1:15)

He went throughout every city and village, preaching and showing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God. (Luke 8:1)

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. (Luke 12:32)

And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you (Luke 10:9)

But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you. (Luke 11:20)

Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. (Luke 17:21)

Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Is there sickness, disease, fear, crime, bills, poverty, or destroying weather in heaven? NO NO NO!!! God wants earth to be like heaven! Our Daddy wants the best for us, just like He has in Heaven. Read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, and you will see Jesus’ example of what we should expect from our Father. He fed people by multiplying the food. He paid bills the day they were due, by fishing (the fish had money in its mouth). He prospered someone’s business by causing them to have more fish in their nets (at the time of day you don’t catch fish). He calmed the storm so they could get to where they wanted to go. He walked on water. He hid Himself from the sight of the crowd that wanted to kill Him. He helped at someone’s wedding, by turning water into wine.

For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. (**John 6:38)

And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 8: Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. (Matt 10:7-8)

God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. (Acts 10:38)

Give us this day our daily bread (word, wisdom and needs)

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (Everything we need) (*Matt 6:33)

We are to expect God to meet our daily needs.

The thief (devil) cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I (Jesus) am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10)

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: (Eph 1:3)

trust…, in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; (1 Tim 6:17)

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things (Rom 8:32)

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness (2 Pet 1:2-3)

And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors

Matt 6:14-15… forgive so the Father will forgive you

Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there remember that thy brother hath ought against you, Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. (Matt 5:23)

Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? (Matt 18:21)

So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses. (Matt 18:35)

And do not lead us into temptation, (test, trials, tribulation) but deliver us from evil.

Temptation-Strongs #3986 gives us the Greek meaning for this word: Temptation –adversity, enticement, tempt, trial, test

Look at this next scripture and what it says.

Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: (**Jms 1:13)

The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations, (2 Pet 2:9)

And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. (2 Tim 4:18)

I pray …thou shouldest keep them from the evil. (John 17:15-20)

Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father. (Gal 1:4)

For Yours is the Kingdom (power, dominion and authority, rule.)

We are to use this power to get all we have need of. The Kingdom of God is in us, to rule this earth and cause it to be like heaven on earth.

Power- uphold all things by the word of His power (Heb 1:3)

And glory, forever. Amen

Praying is an act of dominion!

Here is an example prayer, according to the model of the Lord’s Prayer:

A. Look up about three scriptures that promise God will meet your need. Let’s say your need was for healing.

1. 1 Pet 2:24 says by His stripes you were healed.,

2. Luke 6:17 says He healed them ALL.

3. Heb 13:8 says Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, TODAY and forever.

B. Look up the Name of God that reveals His character that answers your need.

1. (Rapha) The Lord that heals me.

You could then say a prayer something like this.

“Father God, You are the God who heals me. I ask You for wisdom to know how to pray to receive my healing. By the stripes of Jesus, You have already healed me. You are the same yesterday, today and forever. You heal all, and that means me. So You healed me. I forgive anyone who has offended me. Forgive me of my sins. I love You with all my heart, mind, body, soul and spirit. I love my neighbor as myself. Show me how to walk in victory in this area. Thank You that You deliver me from evil. I know this sickness and disease is from the devil and I refuse to accept anything from him. I receive abundant life. In Jesus’ Name, amen.”
