Kingdom Living: You Must Know About This Awesome Scripture!

If I had only one scripture to give a new Christian, or any Christian, it would be this one. Watch the video below to see what the Holy Spirit says about the scripture.

Take a look at this scripture piece by piece. Understand what each word means in the original language. I have taken it apart for you and looked up the original meaning. This is one of the most powerful scriptures in the Bible. This is what He did for us.

IS 53:4-5 Surely he hath borne our

grief’s,(sickness, disease, affliction, sadness, evil, calamity)

and carried our sorrows🙁 physical and mental pain, grief, sorrow)

yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he [was] wounded for our transgressions(sin, rebellion, guilt punishment for transgression, offering),

[he was] bruised for our iniquities:( guilt, condition, consequence of or punishment of sin)

the chastisement of our peace ( completeness, safety, soundness in body, welfare, health, prosperity, peace, whole, entire,  contentment, friendship, covenant relationship) [was] upon him; and

with his stripes we are healed( healed, made healthful).

Now if Jesus did all that suffering for us to pay the price and penalty of our sin WHY would you think that He holds healing, wealth, peace, safety, friendship with Him, or any thing else from us.He did all this while we were still sinners. All we have to do is take it by faith. The new covenant is all about believing God not about behaving. Our Daddy wants us to trust Him. Trust that all the good things He did for us and say is ours IS, ours. Trusting Him is called faith. We are to be obedient to faith! We are to bring every thought into the obedience of Jesus.(Jesus is the WORD)

If you were to die tonight, do you know where you would go? The Bible says all have sinned and the result of sin is death. But WHOEVER calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. I am a “whoever,” and so are you. Call on the name of Jesus right now. “Father God, I accept the free gift of Jesus and make Him Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and show me how much you love me. In Jesus’ name.”
