Many people have the knack of trying to put things together without reading the instructions. I have to say I am guilty of this myself. I was convinced I could just look at the outside of the box and build the table, or whatever the item was, exactly as pictured on the box. The funny thing is I always found myself with left over pieces or something was on backwards. Maybe it’s the society we live in that causes us to have this type of mindset. We tend to be a people who want what we want when we want it, how we want it. I have heard this termed as the “microwave society.” Unfortunately for many Christians, we are trying to apply this very same mindset to the Word of God when it comes to our finances and when it doesn’t work we get mad at the preacher or minister, and at God. Because we have not read or have rejected the instructions on how to prosper financially we settle for the “everybody can’t be wealthy mentality” or we adopt the “God only promises us enough to get by theology.” If the natural earth has processes, if our government has some type of order they are supposed to go by, don’t you think God also has a system we must implement if we are going to step into financial abundance? He has instructions too.
Upon writing this I already anticipate religious heads will rise up and reject the truth, but I also expect to use this blog to shine the light of His Word into someone’s financial darkness and break you out of paycheck to paycheck living today. As a matter of fact, right now! I will not apologize for the information I am about to share with you, because it is the Word of God. I have learned, when people reject the Word, not to take it personal, neither do I try to defend what is clearly written in Scripture. You can take it or leave it. You have to make up your mind that you’re tired of reading about and hearing about financial prosperity and embark on your journey to go into the promised land and get what your Heavenly Father says is yours.
In Numbers chapter thirteen, Moses sent out twelve spies to survey the land God already said was flowing with milk and honey. God already told them this was their inheritance, but ten of the twelve came back and reported they could not take the land because of the giants – the sons of Anak who inhabited the place. They even brought back proof of the abundance that was waiting for them. The fruit was huge and had to be carried by two men! Can you imagine that? The very men who denied abundance actually saw the fruit. There are men and women of God who have been assigned to the body of Christ who have been sent into the promised land, brought out some of the fruit as evidence and have been called to take in as many from the Body of Christ who will go, but the giants have kept so many out. They think the preachers are trying to get their money, even though they are showing them fruit and are willing to show them how to go in and get theirs. I am talking about the giants of poverty, just enough, money is evil, God doesn’t want us to have money and so forth, are crying out like those ten spies saying NO, we can’t go in! The ten spies saw themselves as grasshoppers and the giants did too. How did they figure that out? They were spying out the land. Who had time to go up to a giants and ask them, “Hey do I look like a grasshopper?” We can come up with a hundred reasons why we are supposed to be barely making it, even when the truth of the Word is staring us right in our face, even when we have men and women of God with the evidence of abundance. Nobody in their right mind would say they don’t want to prosper financially. Nobody wants to struggle to pay bills or struggle to take care of their children. I remember what it was like looking at other people prospering when I could barely make it. I was very angry! I saw these preachers talking about getting your money so I gave and nothing happened. You know why? I only had a part of the instruction, so when I put it together it didn’t look like what was on the box. It didn’t look like the financial abundance God said I was supposed to have, therefore I got mad at the preacher and at God.
If you want to experience God’s abundance, the first thing you have to do is bury all of that old theology and impoverished upbringing you have had ingrained in you and allow the living Word of God to create a new financial future for you and your household. Granted there have been some who have come along as wolves in sheep’s clothing. If you have the Holy Spirit living in you, then you have the ability to test and discern the spirits according to 1 John 1:4. You also have the Word of God as a guide to balance all things. We hear a lot of talk about giving and tithing and this is Biblical, but I have found out tithing and giving alone will not bring financial abundance. It is a very important and necessary piece of the pie, but many are tithing and giving without the results. I know because it happened to me. I had a hint of increase but nothing compared to what it said in the Bible. This is why so many have settled for the idea God does not want us to prosper financially. Now either God is lying to us, or we have not read, understood and applied our instructions properly. Number 23:19 19 says
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
I think the problem is with us, not God. If you are open to uncovering and obtaining your financial abundance then keep reading. So, let’s just look at the very first step to breaking out of poverty into financial abundance. You must first accept the fact the Father’s abundance is for YOU. If you have been taught any of the ideologies I have mentioned, you must be willing to repent, which means to think differently after hearing the truth, and follow God’s way.
In Luke 15, the younger son wanted his inheritance so in verse 12 it says “the father divided unto them his living.” This means both the elder son and the younger son were given their inheritance. After some time the younger son lost all he had through riotous living, and the Bible says in verse seventeen “And when he came to himself….” Do you understand what happened here? I know we can look at this and have heard it preached that a sinner was saved and yes this is true. I also want you to see the prodigal son came to a place of repentance. He came to his “right mind.” He understood the life the Father had for him was far better than what he was experiencing at the moment. His father had a life of abundance waiting for him. You see the world and religious ideology has deceived us into thinking paycheck to paycheck living is all we can ever have. We have settled for the idea that our retirement accounts are what will take care of us after we are way up in age. In the meantime, many of us are living amongst the “pigs,” but it’s time to come to your right mind and say “I will arise and go unto my father,” just like the prodigal son did. Today make a decision to bring your thinking up to the Father’s level where financial prosperity is concerned. At the conclusion of Jesus’ lesson the elder son became angry because his father threw a party for the prodigal when he returned home. The father turned to the elder son and made a statement I hope will transform your life the same way it changed mine. Luke 15:31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. You have to see the Father saying this to you right now. Put your name on the line and say, “all the father has is ________________. Say this to you self every day, several times per day.
This is the first step, renewing your mind to the truth of God’s word. Accept this abundance for yourself. Here is another for you to mediate on in
Romans 8:32, “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?’
God is not holding back anything from you! Allow me to give you yet another in
Psalm 92:12-15 “The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; To shew that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.”
I could give you hundreds of Scriptures on God’s will for you to prosper and live an abundant life. You have to make up your mind to go ahead accept his Word as the truth. Don’t let your current financial circumstances make you think this is your truth. Your Father wants everything about your life to be a reflection of Him. When you flourish financially, it shows those who don’t have a relationship with Him that He is upright and takes care of his children.
The Lord has done a great work in my mind concerning money. I had so many religious trees to uproot before I could see His truth clearly. As a result, my life has changed dramatically! I have committed to God to share this simple truth with as many as will listen. I know everyone will not accept it, but I will not be silent. In my book, Break Out of Poverty Into Financial Abundance, I take time to share with you the “instructions” I learned from the Word of God. Over the years I learned these principles in pieces and the Holy Spirit inspired me to write this book to put it all together in a simple form for anyone to grasp it. My friend, I am just a messenger. You have to decide to go into your promised land and get what the Father has for you. You are only one decision away from Breaking Out of Poverty Into Financial Abundance. Visit my website and get your copy today. http://lifeinithewordminsitries.org. Also available on Amazon.

If you were to die tonight, do you know where you would go? The Bible says all have sinned and the result of sin is death. But WHOEVER calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. I am a “whoever,” and so are you. Call on the name of Jesus right now. “Father God, I accept the free gift of Jesus and make Him Lord of my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and show me how much you love me. In Jesus’ name.”
